We may not know each other personally, but I’m sure you seen me and my black dogs. One of them, Shadow, was taken to Animal Emergency Care, Telegraph Road, on Saturday evening and was surgically operated to align her upturned stomach. It was an extensive surgery that lasted over 5 hours. She is still in the hospital battling life and death. With the surgery and post-op care, the hospital bill is already touching $5000. Though I was given the option of euthanizing her on the operation table, my conscious did not allow me to grant that permission. And, not regretting this decision, I have to come up with the funds to pay off the medical costs. At this point, my family is not in the position to accommodate such a huge expense abruptly, however, trying to make the most of it. As pet lovers, I’m sure you understand the value of animal life and treating them equally as part of your families. With that thought, I humbly request you to make as little or as much donation as possible to help a needy family. At this point, even a dollar will help. Please feel free to ask for Shadow’s medical reports and bills so that you are satisfied that this letter is not hoax and your money is going to a go a good cause. your generosity is whole heatedly appreciated.
